Multimedia artist Rosśa Crean (they/them) is an empath, psychic intuitive, Reiki Master Teacher, healer, and certified trauma-informed specialist and life coach. Rosśa has chromesthesia, a type of synesthesia where the brain translates sound into colors, and considers their chromesthesia to be a tool that puts them in a liminal space between mind and body. As a multimedia artist, Rosśa uses mediums that range from acrylics and oil on canvas to digital painting and illustration. Through their design company, Rosśa’s [ROH-shuh] work has been part of art installations and exhibitions throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Crean has done development work with MoMA, and has been a resident artist at the International Museum of Surgical Science, Illinois State University, and Loyola University Museum of Art.
Rosśa Crean’s journey as a healer began over twenty years ago, shaped by their own experiences with childhood trauma and the lifelong process of healing it. As they searched for ways to understand and care for themselves, they were drawn to metaphysics and witchcraft — traditions that offered both structure and spaciousness for reflection, transformation, and self-trust. These practices helped Rosśa reconnect with their intuition, creativity, and inner resilience. Over time, their personal healing work evolved into a professional path combining trauma-informed care, energy work, and creative expression. Today, Rosśa supports others through the same compassionate, holistic lens that helped them find their way — blending the mystical with the practical to create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to heal.
Rosśa is an American Prize winner, and an active author and artist for several publications, including the best-selling oracle deck “Lessons from the Liminal Space.” They are the author of “Queer Herbal Medicine,” “Wound Work: A Witch’s Grimoire for Healing,” “Queer Meditations for Dark Times,” and “Modular Magick: Rituals to Simplify Your Spiritual Practice.” Their highly-anticipated “The Lilith Oracle Deck” and “The Art Witch’s Grimoire for Shadow Work” are slated for release in early 2026.
Rosśa also hosts the podcast “Wound Work: An Audio Grimoire for Healing,” now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. For more information on Rosśa and their work, please go to http://www.rossacrean.com.
